From small beginnings... The livestock business of Stevens Egan Johnston & Co. was first formed in 1983 with the commencement of cattle and sheep sales at Korumburra and Dandenong saleyards.
The business soon gained an excellent reputation built on offering personalised service to the farming community.
The Company diversified into real estate in 1993 with the establishment of a successful real estate office in Foster.
It also became evident to the Directors that a real estate department in Leongatha would compliment the existing livestock business. A new head office was built in 1993 on the South Gippsland Highway to accommodate both the livestock and real estate departments and continues to operate in the same location today.
The real estate business recently expanded its operations in 2008 with the opening of an office in Warragul.
In 2004 Roberts Limited from Tasmania bought an interest in the business. Today the Company employs in excess of 30 fulltime and part time employees throughout its network of offices in South Gippsland.
