Sandy Point
SEJ's Sandy Point office is located in Beach Parade Sandy Point approximately 2 hours from Melbourne on the scenic coastline overlooking the majestic Wilson's Promontory National Park. The history of this charming coastal village dates back to pre European settlement with the Kurnai or Ganai nation Aborigines utilising the sheltered areas of coastal inlets and shores. The region was visited by sealers and whalers during the 1800s and the first settlers farmed the area from 1864 onwards. Several of these families still have a presence on the coastline with the historic properties of Doonagatha and Gyndahnook remaining.

Holiday makers discovered the area in the 1960s enjoying the unspoilt coastline and sheltered fishing & boating in Shallow Inlet. Nowadays Sandy Point has approximately 250 permanent residents, which swells to several thousand during the summer holidays. The surf beach is patrolled during the summer months and runs a regular Nippers programme. The beach on Waratah Bay is 18 kms long, running between Walkerville and Wilson's Promontory. Shallow Inlet is a sandy tidal inlet that is popular for fishing, boating, wind & kite surfing. The township offers a supermarket, mini golf, boat hire, cafécaravan park, surf lifesaving club and a strong sense of community.

A huge variety of property is available within the township - from the ultra modern structure to the original 1960s beach shack. Many of the properties are available to lease during the holiday season with the area being enjoyed by Melbourne families flocking to enjoy the pristine beaches and picturesque surroundings.
